Former Party of Five star Scott Wolf, 44, and his wife, The Real World: New Orleans alum Kelley Limp, 36, welcomed their second child, Miller William Wolf, on Nov. 10 in L.A. Baby boy joins big brother Jackson Kayse, 3. "Jackson was a tough act to follow," the couple told PEOPLE. "But so far Miller is nailing it."
Dancing with the Stars cohost Brooke Burke-Charvet revealed on YouTube Nov. 8 that she has thyroid cancer. The 41-year-old mother of four will undergo surgery to have a thyroidectomy, a procedure to remove part or all of the thyroid gland. "It's taken me a couple of months to really wrap my head around this....Now I'm good," she said. "I'm ready to deal with it and I'm going to be fine. And I feel really, really strong."
BABY ON BOARD
Singer Bryan Adams, 53, will become a dad for the second time. He and Alicia Grimaldi, the cofounder of his charitable foundation, are having a baby next year. The couple are already parents to 19-month-old daughter Bunny Grimaldi-Adams. Princess Caroline of Monaco is going to be a first-time grandmother. Her oldest son, Andrea Casiraghi, and his fiancée Tatiana Santo Domingo, both 28, are expecting."Yes, I am pregnant," the heiress of South American descent said on Nov. 6 in Madrid while attending the Telva Fashion Awards. The parents-to-be are set to marry sometime in 2013. Casiraghi will be the first of the late Princess Grace's grandchildren to wed.
Queen Elizabeth II has made Oscar-nominated actor Kenneth Branagh (inset) a real-life knight. The British star and director, 51, was knighted by Her Majesty at a Buckingham Palace ceremony Nov. 9 for his services to drama and his charity work in Northern Ireland. "I am humble, elated and incredibly lucky," he said of the honor.
Kevin Clash, the actor who's been the voice of Sesame Street's Elmo for 27 years, is on a leave of absence from the show due to allegations that he had a relationship with a 16-year-old boy. Clash, 52, has admitted to having a relationship with the teen, who is now 23, but says it happened after the boy turned 18. "It was between two consenting adults and I am deeply saddened that he is trying to characterize it as something other than what it was," said Clash. Sesame Workshop officials said they have investigated the claims and determined that it was "a personal relationship unrelated to the workplace."
GUNMAN GETS LIFE IN PRISON
On Nov. 8 a judge sentenced Jared Loughner (inset) to life in prison for killing six people and injuring 13, including former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, 42, in a January 2011 shooting in Tucson. At the sentencing, Loughner, 24, faced Giffords for the first time. Giffords's husband, retired astronaut Mark Kelly, spoke on her behalf: "You may have put a bullet through her head, but you haven't put a dent in her spirit and her commitment to make the world a better place."
