STANDING BY HER MAN
For Tori Spelling
, 2013 came to a rocky close: A recent report accusing her husband, Dean McDermott, 47, of having a one-night stand has shaken their relationship. But instead of publicly speaking out about the brewing scandal, the reality star, 40, posted a video of the couple's four children - Liam, 6, Stella, 5, Hattie, 2, and Finn, 1 - on her website, telling fans she was "so grateful for my family!"
In private, however, friends of the former 90210 star say things aren't so picture-perfect. "Rumors about cheating have followed them their whole marriage, and it really takes a toll on her," says a pal of Spelling, who wed McDermott in 2006. "They have had fights over her accusing him of having a wandering eye, especially since they've had to be separated for work so many times." In October, Spelling defended her marriage to PEOPLE, insisting it was "pretty damn strong" - while admitting her recent health issues and the stress of raising a family have been tough on both of them. "We have our times when we're not connected, and we have to work at that," said Spelling, who has attended couples therapy with McDermott. "We acknowledge those moments and work through them."
But can they work through the latest round of infidelity rumors? While reps for the couple remain quiet, another Spelling source says, "Tori's always said that's her biggest fear: that he would be unfaithful." Yet it wouldn't necessarily signal the end of their union. "If this story is true, it would be hard for her to admit. She's very dependent on Dean and the whole life they've created together," says the source. "She's an incredibly loyal person, and she's not someone who gives up easily. Despite their struggles, he's always been her knight in shining armor. And he'll fight hard for her. They'll think very hard before making any decisions about their future as a couple."
MICHAEL DOUGLAS & CATHERINE ZETA-JONES
Though they decided to separate last spring, Catherine Zeta-Jones
, 44, and Michael Douglas, 69, put forth a united front to celebrate the holidays with their children Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10. While venturing out in New York City - and even briefly holding hands - on Dec. 22, "they looked really happy," says an observer, who noted that both Oscar winners were wearing their wedding bands. "They were smiling, and the kids were having fun spending time with their parents." The party of four tucked into lunch at Italian eatery Orso before attending a matinee performance of Motown
. The pair later took the kids to the movies. (Douglas and Dylan's choice? The Hobbit
.) The reunion proves Douglas is a man of his word: Despite their separation, the actor told PEOPLE at the Emmy Awards, "We're working things out talking, and we'll see how she goes."
Perhaps it was too good (looking) to last: Model Kate Upton, 21, and Dancing with the Stars
pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 33, have split after only six months. "They've been done for a while," a source says of the pair. In happier times he had said of Upton, "I love how she can go from being girlie to being a businesswoman in the snap of a finger." That seems to be how the relationship ended too.
They play undercover spies in The Americans
, but are they covertly dating in real life? The newly single Keri Russell
, 37, and Matthew Rhys, 39, were recently spotted in Brooklyn "laughing and walking closely together," says a source. "They looked very much like a couple." Reps for the stars have not commented.

HAWAII FOR THE HOLIDAYS
After five months at boarding school, Paris Jackson reunited with her family in Hawaii for Christmas. Paris, 15, who was hospitalized in June after a suicide attempt, "is having a total blast" at the Disney Aulani Resort on Oahu, a source close to the family tells Scoop. "She's super-happy, shopping and hanging out."
Along with her siblings Prince, 16, and Blanket, 11, and their legal co-guardian cousin Tito "TJ" Jackson Jr., Paris enjoyed quality time with a handful of relatives. The one family member she has yet to see: her grandmother and co-guardian Katherine, 83, who was in Indiana. Though Paris will head to the Jackson family compound in Calabasas, Calif., after vacation, she's slated to return in January to her Utah campus, where she continues therapy. "Paris is not happy about going back," says the source. "Her grandmother wants Paris to get more treatment. The thought of Paris harming herself again is very scary to her. But Paris is definitely going to try and talk her way into not going back. We'll see."
