Festive cocktails, a string bikini and a strapping younger man: Bethenny Frankel had everything she needed to ring in the new year in Miami style. The talk show host, 43, wasn't shy about her hot new romance with Michael A. Cerussi III, 34, who works in finance. "They made out pretty heavily at midnight," an eyewitness at South Beach's Mondrian hotel tells Scoop. "They were cuddly all night."

After a year of divorce drama - she continues to share a New York City loft with her ex Jason Hoppy, 42, and their daughter Bryn, 3, while negotiations drag on—the former reality star was finally dipping her toe back into the dating pool. But as soon as Cerussi was identified as her mystery man, reports surfaced that he had been accused of rape in 2000 while an undergraduate at Union College. (A police report was never filed and no criminal charges were ever brought.) Cerussi denied the charges and sued for defamation of character in 2001, following his expulsion from school. The case was settled out of court, and the school reportedly reversed the expulsion. (Neither of the parties nor the school responded to requests for comment.) A source close to Frankel claims the allegation was "false and unfounded."

In fact, the news of the scandal from Cerussi's past hasn't ended the romance. "They're still seeing each other," says the Frankel source. No stranger to controversy herself, Frankel is taking the scrutiny in stride. "When you date a talk show host in the public eye, this is what happens," the source adds. "People look into your past." Plus, the source points out, it's not like they're even that serious yet: "They are dating, [but] they're not exclusive."

Still, Frankel - who built a reality TV career around being unlucky in love - is focused on finding the positive. "She's having a great time," says the source. "She's moving forward with her life."

Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts has always kept her romantic life private - until now. In a Dec. 29 Facebook post thanking the loved ones who helped her through a tough 2013, the ABC News personality, 53, publicly came out by acknowledging for the first time Amber Laign, her girlfriend of 10 years. On air a week later, Roberts spoke of her longtime love - a licensed massage therapist whom she met through mutual friends - and shared a photo of the two of them with her family at her niece's recent wedding in Louisiana. "My year-end post was just full of gratitude and just telling everyone all that I'm grateful for, including my girlfriend Amber who really loved me through a very difficult year," said Roberts, who received a bone marrow transplant from her sister Sally-Ann in September 2012 after being diagnosed with a rare blood disorder. "I have never been happier or healthier than I am right now."

After five years together, Ricky Martin and Carlos González Abella have "mutually agreed to end their relationship but continue to be united by friendship," the singer's rep tells Scoop. In 2012, Martin, 42, gushed to Vanity Fair about experiencing "wonderful things" with his partner, but in November a source hinted distance had caused strain. "They have been on the outs for a while," the source said then. "They've spent very little time together."

Two days after endlessly on-off couple Justin Bieber, 19, and Selena Gomez, 21, were spotted riding Segways together Jan. 2, he posted a cozy snap of them on Instagram captioned "Love the way you look at me."
