Courteney Cox Arquette
SHE'S FOUND THE ONE!
Courteney Cox Arquette DOES turning 50 really well. First came a small dinner party thrown by her good pal Jennifer Aniston on June 13. Next up: a beach getaway - in an itty-bitty string bikini - to Turks and Caicos with her musician boyfriend, Johnny McDaid. Then, the day after flashing a delicate diamond band at Craig's restaurant in L.A. on June 25, she and McDaid, 37, announced their engagement in a pair of his-and-her tweets. "Her friends couldn't be more thrilled for her," Michelle Lovitt, Cox's personal trainer and friend, tells PEOPLE. "We're all over the moon that she found this love with Johnny."
It's been a quick courtship for the Cougar Town star and the Snow Patrol rocker, who met through mutual friends around seven months ago. Soon after, McDaid moved into Cox's Malibu house. "Things moved really fast, but it all just made sense," says a Cox pal. McDaid, a Northern Ireland native, "is soft-spoken and calm," says a source who has spent time with them. "Their relationship is really mellow."
Although the reserved McDaid and Cox's outgoing ex-husband, David Arquette, 42, are "complete opposites," says the source, they all spend time together. "They get along, so it's really easy for everyone," says the friend, adding that Cox is "thrilled" for Arquette and his girlfriend, Christina McLarty, who welcomed son Charlie in April. McDaid, notes the source, will be a "great stepdad" to Cox and Arquette's daughter Coco, 10: "He is a family man."
While wedding plans are just getting underway, the pair have already collaborated on another project, Cox's new film Just Before I Go, which she directed with soundtrack assists from McDaid. "I couldn't be happier," she told PEOPLE at the film's premiere in April.
It shows. "A happy place makes for a fit place," says Lovitt, who does interval training with the age-defying star. Cox, who has called herself a "guinea pig" for beauty treatments in the past, "works out hard, gets regular facials, massages, laser, the whole thing," says her friend. "She has a chef who cooks healthy food, and she's conscious of what she eats. Her body looks like she should be in her 30s! This is a really happy time in her life."

HIS BIZARRE BEHAVIOR
HE WAS ARRESTED AT A BROADWAY PLAY. IS THE STAR IN CRISIS?
This year he walked a red carpet with a paper bag on his head and invited the public to see him sitting silently in an art gallery. But Shia LaBeouf's odd behavior took a troubling turn on June 26, when he spent a night in jail after disrupting a performance of Cabaret in Manhattan. Hauled off in handcuffs after threatening patrons, yelling at the actors and being "verbally abusive" toward officers, according to the NYPD, LaBeouf, 28, was charged with one count of criminal trespassing and two counts of disorderly conduct. Those who know the actor - a child star on Disney Channel's Even Stevens before he landed the lead in the first three Transformers movies - are worried. (LaBeouf's rep has not commented.) "It isn't performance art to interrupt another actor's performance," says a source who has worked with him. "I think he's out of control." Another source who has known the actor since he was a teen says LaBeouf is a "nice guy" but "has always had erratic moments and temper problems in social situations. When he was a kid, people thought it was cute, but now it's not cute anymore. His friends are urging him to get help."
LaBeouf dropped out of the Broadway show Orphans after clashing with costar Alec Baldwin.
He was caught on video head-butting a man in a London bar fight.
After walking out of a press conference, he showed up to his Nymphomaniac premiere in this head wear.
For an exhibit titled #iamsorry, he sat silently in an L.A. gallery, often weeping, as fans visited one by one.
Arrested at intermission at Cabaret, he spit at cops and screamed obscenities, according to police.

SHE WON'T LEAVE!
A CALIFORNIA FAMILY FIRES THEIR LIVE-IN BABYSITTER. BUT GETTING HER TO MOVE OUT OF THE HOUSE MAY NOT BE SO EASY
When Ralph and Marcella Bracamonte needed someone to watch their three kids and clean their Upland, Calif., home in exchange for free room and board, they placed an ad on Craigslist. They thought their problems were solved when they met 64-year-old Diane Stretton, a pleasant woman with impeccable references. But three weeks after she moved in, "she started slowing down," Marcella, 31, tells PEOPLE. "She didn't want to help out." Stretton's relationship with the children deteriorated, say the Bracamontes. "She went from being loving and caring to being frustrated," says Ralph, 35. When it was clear things weren't working out, the Bracamontes fired her and asked her to move out - but she refused. They called police but were told it was a civil matter, so they filed legal papers to remove Stretton from their home. But she may not be leaving any time soon because of tough local eviction laws. "It's a quite lengthy process," says the Bracamontes' attorney Marc Cohen. "It can take months." At press time, the family says Stretton, who has avoided media contact, had driven away because of news trucks parked at the home, but all of her belongings remain. "There's nothing we can do about it," says Ralph. "We can't change the locks." The situation has been tough on the Bracamontes' children, ages 11, 4 and 16 months. "They lock their door at night and put a chair in front of it because they're scared," says Marcella. "I'm like a lion who wants to protect her cubs, but I can't. It's a nightmare."
FACING NEW PROBLEMS?
It seemed like he was doing better: Days after Rob Kardashian abruptly left sister Kim's pre-wedding events due to anxiety over his weight, he hit the gym and seemed back on track. But a month later, he's facing tabloid rumors over an even bigger issue: drug abuse. On June 26 photos surfaced showing Kardashian, 27, and some pals surrounded by paraphernalia associated with the popular prescription cough syrup and soda blend known as "sizzurp." (A rep for the family did not respond to requests for comment.) "His family is worried about him," a source tells PEOPLE. "He's clearly going through something and is depressed." Despite his current state, those close to him are optimistic he'll turn things around. Says pal Ryan Silverstein: "He has a great attitude."

MY LIFE NOW
THE SINGER OPENS UP ABOUT RAISING TWIN BOYS—AND FINDING LOVE AGAIN
Between recording a new album, coaching on The Voice Australia and gearing up for the October opening of his foundation's center for exploited children in Puerto Rico, Ricky Martin doesn't have much free time. But the singer's top priority remains being daddy to his 5-year-old twin boys, Valentino and Matteo. "I try to have days off to just spend with them," he says, marveling at how quickly he "went from diapers to buying school uniforms." Just like their pop star papi, Martin's "mini-me's" love music ("They are little artists") and life on the road ("They have a lot of frequent-flyer miles"). While their current home base is Sydney - where The Voice tapes - Martin and his tots prefer touring. "When I was doing Evita on Broadway, they loved the stability for a little while, but then they said, 'Dad, where are we going next?' " he says, laughing.
Soon his plate - and jet-setting brood - may get even fuller.
"Parenting has been nothing but a beautiful way of complementing my life. I'm only starting," says Martin, 42. "I want a little girl!" And though he may not have time for dating (he and longtime boyfriend Carlos González Abella split in January), the star hasn't ruled out the possibility of romance in the future. "I love commitment," he says. "I am more of a dreamer, so I want someone that helps me keep my feet on the ground."
