Sharon Stone Sues Doc over Facelift Claim | Sharon Stone
Sharon Stone has sued a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon for defamation and libel for falsely claiming that he did some touchup work on her face.

According to the legal documents filed Monday against surgeon Renato Calabria in Los Angeles Superior Court, and obtained by the Smoking Gun Web site: "Stone has never undergone a facelift in order to improve her physical appearance. ... Stone prides herself not only on her acting ability and other talents, but also on her natural physical appearance."

Stone's lawsuit states that Calabria's online press kit includes magazine interviews and articles crediting him with "performing Sharon's rumored surgery."

Calabria's attorney, Arthur Barens, tells Reuters that the 46-year-old "Basic Instinct" star should just calm down. He says his client never represented to anyone that he performed plastic surgery on Stone, 46.

"All he has ever done is discuss vertical face surgery, a technique he innovated and articles have speculated that Stone had the procedure," the lawyer said.
