A USA Today/CNN/Gallup Poll of 1,002 adults asking about "nice" celebrities actually shows a 90-percent-of-the-vote tie between Oprah Winfrey and Tom Hanks. They were followed closely by Tiger Woods (88 percent) and Mel Gibson (87).
Britney Spears, however, heads the list of who's "naughty," with 67 percent of the vote. She is joined by Janet Jackson (64 percent) and Paris Hilton (63 percent, though she also got a low 19 percent of the "nice" vote).
Donald Trump pretty much ended up with a split decision: 47 percent of poll respondents find him nice, while 48 percent think he's naughty.
Americans also apparently want Oprah in the White House. Twenty-one percent of the 3,077 adults participating in a Harris pop-culture poll for Parade magazine picked Oprah for president. She was trailed by Bill O'Reilly, with 8 percent, and Will Smith, with 7 percent. Jon Stewart, Donald Trump and Richard Gere all tied with 6 percent.
Asked to name the best-looking actor and actress in Hollywood, those surveyed chose Brad Pitt (by 17 percent, followed by Tom Cruise, with 15) and Halle Berry (28 percent, trailed by Catherine Zeta-Jones, with 19).
Among celeb couples, Billy Joel and new bride Katie Lee got the strongest vote of confidence, with 19 percent of the vote. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher got 12 percent, followed by Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake (with 6 percent) and newlyweds Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony (5 percent).
Interestingly, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline only received a 2 percent vote of confidence.
Finally, as for that pressing matter of Donald Trump's hair: 37 percent of the respondents think it's fake, 24 percent think it's genuine – and 35 percent just don't give a hoot.
