Desperate Housewives costar Nicollette Sheridan is getting hitched.
The Golden Globe nominee, 41, and Swedish-born actor Niklas Soderblom became engaged over the holidays, her publicist confirmed to PEOPLE. Nicollette and Nicklas reportedly vacationed in Aspen over New Year's weekend.
This will be the second marriage for Sheridan, who plays the frisky Edie Britt on the hit ABC show. From 1991-93 she was married to former L.A. Law actor Harry Hamlin.
She also had a relationship with singer Leif Garrett, when both were in their teens, and another with Michael Bolton.
As for Soderblom, his Internet Move Database acting credits consist of two roles: as a mob assistant in 1997's Stir, starring Traci Lords, and as "featured male talent" in Playboy's Wet & Wild: Slippery When Wet.
Two months ago, Sheridan was at the center of a controversy when she appeared in a promo preceding ABC's Monday Night Football set in a deserted locker room, in which she dropped her towel and hopped naked into the arms of Philadelphia Eagles star Terrell Owens.
Following complaints from several quarters, the FCC is reviewing the possibility of fining ABC for the so-called indecent stunt.
