The boy accusing Michael Jackson of child molestation told grand jurors in great detail about his allegedly disturbing encounters with the pop star, according to secret court transcripts obtained by ABC's Primetime Live for a segment due to air Thursday.
ABC's staff reportedly reviewed 1,900 pages of transcripts that covered testimony from 41 witnesses, including the accuser, who was 14 at the time. According to ABC's report, the accuser told grand jurors: "We were laying on the bed and he (Jackson) told me that men have to masturbate … he told me that he wanted to teach me (to masturbate) … he put his hand down my pants and he started rubbing me … my private area."
When asked what Jackson looked like during this encounter, the boy said, "His eyes were like squinching (sic) really tight." The boy also testified that he did not touch Jackson: "He wanted me to, but I didn't. I said no and I pulled my hand away."
The transcripts have been sealed from the public, so no word on who leaked them to PrimeTime. Both Jackson's lawyers and prosecutors are under a gag-order preventing them from speaking publicly about the case.
Jackson, 46, has pleaded not guilty to charges of child molestation, conspiracy and administering an intoxicating agent, alcohol, to the alleged victim at his Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County.
The trial is scheduled to start Jan. 31. Although cameras will not be allowed in court, E! Entertainment Television has announced plans to have actors re-enact the trial on a daily half-hour show based on courtroom transcripts. "The tone will be deadly serious," E! CEO Ted Harbert told the Hollywood Reporter.
