The Amazing Race's Lori & Bolo
In the end on The Amazing Race, married pro wrestlers Lori Harvey and Bolo Dar'tainian fell victim to their one weakness: reading instructions. But departing from Lalibela, Ethiopia, in second place this week, Lori, 33, and Bolo, 39, stressed that as long as they reviewed the clues carefully, they should be all right – and so it seemed, until they arrived at Lion' s Rock in Sigiriya, Sri Lanka. There, the two hurried to send Lori up 1,000 steps without noting that she needed a ticket to get their next clue. "I don' t know why I just didn' t stick it in my pocket," Lori says of the paper she left behind, which cost them their quest. Now back in the States, the two recently chatted with PEOPLE about what did work for them – namely, their relationship – and what it was like to see the world.

Before starting, did you think you'd be as good a team as you ended up being?
Lori: No, I was thinking we' d kill each other! We just love to argue. That' s just our nature.
Bolo: That' s just the way we communicate most of the time. People think we are arguing, but we are just communicating. We are married. We' ve been married eight years. What do you expect?

What was it like watching the dynamic between other teams?
Lori: The "Oh baby, love you, kissy-kissy" (between the other couples) got on my nerves! Like, God!
Bolo: We say, "Shut up!" "No, you shut up, you jerk!" "No, you' re the jerk, dumbass!" But it' s all in good fun.

Even with the back talk and whatnot, Bolo, you often had that look of love for Lori.
Bolo: I was going down the wrong path before I met her, (getting in fights and) going to jail a lot ... But she changed my life completely, and I love her. One reason I got her on the race is so I can take her around the world and show her different cultures and different people. I don' t think I would have been able to afford to do that. Now we' ve seen places and people that we want to go back and visit.

Where would you go?
Lori: I' d like to go back to Africa and do the wildlife thingy more. The animals and stuff – that would be cool. And I' d like to go back to Corsica, Italy.
Bolo: Corsica, Italy, or probably Stockholm, Sweden.

Lori, you had never been overseas before. What did you take away from doing the race?
Lori: I learned that people are very sweet and very helpful in other countries, actually more than they are in the States. They respect things because they don' t have a lot of money and stuff, but the people were wonderful. It wasn' t as bad as I figured how other countries would be.

And how is it being home again? Anything new?
Bolo: We are living in two separate states now. I am living in L.A., and she' s living in Florida until I get her out there. I am pursuing more of my acting career, looking for agents and managers and getting into stunts. I' ve moved away from wrestling. Lori wants to go professional into her barrel racing and go on the Wrangler Tour.
Lori: And I want to do Playboy!
