Several sources confirm for PEOPLE that first daughter Jenna Bush, known as the blonde half of the Bush twins, is dating Henry Hager, the son of former Virginia Lt. Gov. John H. Hager.
Hager, 26, was reportedly at Jenna's side during last week's inaugural festivities, and they are considered regulars at the 23-year-old Bush twins' favorite bar, Smith Point in Georgetown.
Hager, an Arlington, Va., resident, who is a Wake Forest University graduate, interned at the White House under Bush strategist Karl Rove.
"He's a nice guy, a smart guy, an ambitious guy. Well liked, popular," a Bush adviser tells The Washington Post.
Henry's father, formerly Virginia's first director of homeland security, recently joined the Bush administration as an assistant secretary of education.
A spokeswoman for First Lady Laura Bush said, "We cannot comment on the girls' personal life," though last week Bush spokesman Gordon Johndroe told the Associated Press, which sighted a ring on Jenna's finger: "She's still single," neither engaged nor secretly wed.
