Nicole Kidman Gets Restraining Order
GRANTED: Nicole Kidman, 37, won her request for restraining orders against two freelance photographers Thursday after saying she had been a virtual prisoner in her Sydney home and feared for her safety because of them. The request followed the discovery of an electronic listening device outside her residence. Jamie Fawcett, 43, and Ben McDonald, 32, were ordered not to approach Kidman at her home or go within 60 ft. of her harbor-side home. Kidman said in a statement that she was grateful the court had granted the orders because she had been afraid to leave her home, reports the Associated Press.
QUESTIONED: Authorities investigating sexual misconduct allegations against Bill Cosby believe there was sexual contact between him and his accuser, but they are still trying to determine whether it was consensual, reports ABC News. In a police report obtained by TV's Celebrity Justice, the woman said Cosby invited her to his house last January and, when she complained of stress, offered her "some type of pills" that allegedly caused her to become "dizzy and sick." Cosby, 67, then helped her to a couch, where he allegedly fondled her and forced her to touch him inappropriately. The Pennsylvania prosecutor in the case indicated this week that he was concerned that it took the woman a year to make the allegations. The woman's attorney, Dolores Troiani, said her client was afraid to come forward earlier because of Cosby's celebrity status.
