What's working for him: Has good chemistry with Jen
Possible deal breaker: Could be a player
Date analysis: A question mark. On the last episode, they had fun playing croquet at a resort in Hilton Head, S.C. – but then something snapped. They verbally sparred during dinner about who is having real feelings for whom. Could it be sexual tension, or something more?
Their big bonding moment: In episode 5, she learned to spell her name in sign language so she could relate to Jerry's mom, Paula, who is hearing impaired. "It's nice to see (Jen) communicate with her," he remarked.
Reading Jen: Although she says she doesn't always "get" Jerry, she's hanging on to her attraction to him and says she wants to know him better.
Jerry on his competition: "John Paul has a great family, he's very close to them," Jerry tells PEOPLE. "As a woman, not that I am, those are qualities I would find endearing in him."
Where he stands: He's still the front-runner – she's drawn to him.
John Paul, 25
What's working for him: Has the stability Jen craves
Possible deal breaker: Jerry
Date analysis: Straightforward. Jen and John Paul laid out the progress of their relationship and then had some tender cuddling time in the Bermuda fantasy suite.
Best wooing tactic: In episode 5 he had his restaurant's chef come over to his well-appointed house to make dinner for him and Jen. She was so impressed, dessert ended with a big kiss.
Reading Jen: She loves that John Paul answers all her tough questions – but then again, she acted the same way toward Ryan before breaking his heart.
John Paul on his competition: "Jerry is one of those fun guys to be around," he tells PEOPLE. "In the house, he was an enjoyable guy. I don't have anything negative to say about Jerry."
Where he stands: John Paul seems almost too good to be true. He can fulfill a lot of Jen's needs, but his downfall ultimately may be his age. She claims his being 25 to her 28 is a non-issue, but she always brings it up.
