As for those pictures in the Oscar race – the big giveaway is next Sunday – Clint Eastwood’s boxing drama Million Dollar Baby led the list (No. 5, with $7.2 million, for a $54.7 million total so far), followed by the Howard Hughes epic The Aviator (No. 9, with $4.2 million, though with a higher total of $88.1 million). The wine-country comedy Sideways finished 10th ($3.9 million, for a total of $58.1 million), reports the Associated Press.
