The images, which ranged from grandmothers shown topless to couples engaged in sex, were displayed on the courtroom's overhead projector.
Late in the morning session, Santa Barbara County Superior Court Judge Rodney S. Melville shot down the prosecution's request to use data seized from Jackson's computers as evidence in the trial. Melville ruled that the evidence in question was merely "cached" on the computers' hard-drives and there was no way of knowing whether he had actually viewed the sites in question.
Oxman was brought to nearby Marian Medical Center, where he reportedly is being treated for pneumonia.
And in another development in the case, former bodyguard Christopher Eric Carter, 25, expected to be a key witness against Jackson, is now in a Las Vegas jail after being indicted on 15 felony counts on Wednesday. The charges include first-degree kidnapping, burglary, robbery, coercion and possession of a firearm by an ex-felon, reports CNN.
According to the indictment, Carter was convicted in 2000 in Maryland on drug and escape charges, two years before he went to work for Jackson. Carter has testified that he witnessed Jackson and his young accuser drinking alcohol together during a plane flight, but the felony charges are now likely to bring Carter's credibility into question.
