RANKED: Angelina Jolie, 29, has been voted the sexiest woman in the world by readers of the men's magazine FHM, which last year bestowed that honor on Britney Spears – who this year didn't make the list at all, probably because she married Kevin Federline. "She was taken off the market. It broke the hearts of men 18 to 35," FHM editor Scott Gramling speculates to USA Today. Other sexiest women, according to the poll, (in order of the Top 10): Jennifer Garner, Paris Hilton, Charlize Theron, Halle Berry, Alyssa Milano, Teri Hatcher, Pamela Anderson, Scarlett Johansson and Lindsay Lohan.

UPHELD: A London judge rejected an attempt to block a lawsuit by British journalist Anna Richardson, who claims she was groped by California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger during a 2000 interview with him and was then libeled by his aides, AP reports. Judge David Eady dismissed an attempt by Schwarzenegger spokesman Sean Walsh to stop the case from going ahead on the grounds that English courts had no jurisdiction. A date for the libel trial has not yet been set.

RALLIED: Leonardo DiCaprio, 30, joined environmentalists, including Global Green USA President Matt Petersen, in San Francisco Tuesday to mark World Water Day and bring attention to the plight of one billion people worldwide who lack access to clean water. "We are here to help raise awareness about what is one of the greatest challenges facing humanity today," said DiCaprio, according to the Associated Press. The Aviator star signed a petition that calls on President Bush and other government leaders to commit to a legally binding United Nations treaty declaring clean water as a basic human right.

AIDED: Monaco's Prince Rainier, 81, has been attached to an artificial respirator in Monaco's Cardiothoracic Center to assist his breathing because of a lung infection complicated by cardiac and kidney problems, says his palace. Rainier, who was married to the late screen star Grace Kelly, was in a stable condition after being taken into intensive care Tuesday because his lung problem had worsened. He had initially been responding well to treatment following his hospital admission on March 7.

READIED: Before there was Lindsay Lohan and the Olsen twins, America's sweetheart was Doris Day, now 80 and living with her rescued dogs and cats in Northern California. But those who still can't enough Doris will have their day on April 26, when Warner Home Video releases a six-set Doris Day DVD Collection. Besides the cult favorites Pajama Game and Calamity Jane, the collection also features the 1955 musical bio of real-life singer Ruth Etting, Love Me or Leave Me, costarring James Cagney.
