While its producers may consider it "better, stronger and faster," audiences may finally believe that VH1's fifth go-round of The Surreal Life is really living up to its title.
The cable music network announced the "bionic mix of celebrity personalities" that constitutes the cast of the new season, set to premiere Sept. 4.
And they are, as described by VH1: the world's first supermodel Janice Dickinson; power slugger Jose Canseco; hip-hop legend Pepa of Salt-N-Pepa (real name: Sandi Denton); Bronson Pinchot (Beverly Hills Cop, TV's Perfect Strangers); Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth (The Apprentice); UK glamour model Caprice; and motorcross madman Carey Hart.
The odd mix will live together in a Hollywood mansion and have their lives videotaped around the clock.
