RESCHEDULED: Bowing to mounting criticism, Prince Charles will delay his wedding to Camilla Parker Bowles, which had been scheduled for Friday – the day of the Pope's funeral. Instead, Charles will attend the funeral in Rome, representing the British royal family, and his wedding will take place on Saturday. The prince's office, Clarence House, also announced that Charles has cut short his skiing trip in Switzerland to attend a London memorial service for the pontiff, who died last Saturday evening. Charles and Parker Bowles will marry in a civil ceremony in the town hall at Windsor, west of London, followed by a service of prayer and dedication at Windsor castle's chapel.

ENGAGED: Deana Shane and Ray Housteau, who were eliminated last week from the CBS reality series The Amazing Race (they lost a foot race to brothers Brian and Greg), have come up with their own prize: They are engaged to be married in May. "We attribute (getting engaged) to the Race because we literally couldn't move forward or backward in our relationship," Housteau tells PEOPLE. "I started appreciating more of what I had in Deana during the Race. I don't know if that would have happened without it."

ESCORTED: Kanye West was shuffled out the back door of a new urban boutique after a fight cut short the entertainer's autograph-signing session in Fresno, Calif., police tell the Associated Press. Authorities spent nearly a half-hour clearing about 1,000 fans from the store's parking lot as a police helicopter hovered above. "Once security couldn't control it, we had to shut it down," store employee Aron Hekimian said. No one was hurt, but "everybody's chance to meet Kanye West was ruined," said Anna Reyna, 19, who waited in line for the Grammy-winning rapper's autograph but never got to lay eyes upon him.

DIAGNOSED: Singer-songwriter Neil Young, 59, underwent an operation for a brain aneurysm in a New York hospital last Tuesday, say reports. He is expected to make a full recovery. "Mr. Young was treated successfully by the minimally invasive neuroradiology team," said Dr Pierre Gobin. "He is now resting comfortably." Before becoming known for his solo work, Young played with Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.

SUSPENDED: Tampa Bay outfielder Alex Sanchez, 28, has been suspended for 10 days for violating baseball's new steroids policy, the first player publicly identified under the Major League's tougher rules, AP reports. The suspension begins Monday when Tampa Bay opens its season against Toronto, the commissioner's office said Sunday. "I'm going to fight it, because I've never taken steroids or anything like that," said Sanchez, who was released by Detroit in mid-March and signed by the Devil Rays.
