REVIVED: Obviously she saw it coming, but Famke Janssen will return for X-Men 3, despite the "death" of her psychic character Jean Grey in the last outing, reports Variety. Others onboard for the third installment of the Marvel Comic adventure: Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and Patrick Stewart. Shooting is slated to start this summer, for a May 26, 2006 release.
RENEWED: Alias, Boston Legal, Desperate Housewives and Lost will be back on ABC next season, and things are looking hopeful for the new Grey's Anatomy, says the Hollywood Reporter. Since its October premiere, Housewives proved this season's hottest new show, and is without question the top-rated new series of the season.
DECLINED: Producers of the James Bond franchise are refusing comment on a report that Road to Perdition and Layer Cake star Daniel Craig is replacing Pierce Brosnan as 007 in the next three movies, as Britain's Sun newspaper has stated. "We're waiting for our director to finish the film he's currently working on. Then I'm sure we'll be commenting a lot on all sorts of things," says a spokesperson for production company Eon, according to the BBC.
