Honeymooners Charles & Camilla Go to Church
Prince Charles and the new Duchess of Cornwall (officially the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay when they are in Scotland) spent the first day of their Scottish honeymoon greeting the public – at church.

The two attended services at the local parish near Birkhall, a hunting lodge on the Balmoral estate that Charles inherited from his grandmother, the Queen Mother, where they are celebrating their honeymoon for about 10 days.

Wearing a tartan kilt while his new bride wore a fuchsia coat and matching feathered tam, Charles greeted parishioners and fans after he and Camilla arrived in a gray Audi, which the groom drove himself.

"I'm sure you'll be very happy," Denise Glover, a 61-year-old housewife, called out to the Prince, who responded: "Yes, she is a remarkable lady."

A few more details of Saturday's wedding ceremony have also been reported, with Britain's Press Association saying that Charles thanked several in a speech delivered at Windsor Castle. These included his new father-in-law, Maj. Bruce Shand; his "wonderful sons," Princes William and Harry; his staff; and finally, "my darling Camilla."

In making his toasts, Charles adopted the habit of his late grandmother, the Queen Mum, by saying "Up!" before each name.

Then he added: "Down with the press!" – which elicited a loud cheer, the Press Association said.
