Survivor: Palau streamlined on Thursday night's episode, with Stephenie LaGrossa, the 25-year-old pharmaceutical sales agent from Philadelphia and sole member of the Ulong tribe, joining Koror – which voted off Coby Archa, the 32-year-old hairstylist from Athens, Texas, in a decisive 7-2 vote.

For Stephenie, the isolation may have been taking its toll, but it also fueled her determination. "This is scary," she admitted. "This is the scariest thing and the hardest thing that I will ever do. But I'll never give up. I'm not a quitter."

A tree mail told Stephenie to pack up and paddle over to the Koror camp, where team members who were pretty fed up with one another – especially over Coby's complaining – warmly greeted her. "This is a new chapter in my life," she said. "I'm ready to start winning with Koror."

When it came time to determine at the tribal council who would go, Coby was considered an easy target, especially among the tribe's alpha males. After the vote, Coby said: "What a total compliment. You didn't get rid of me because I was lazy. You didn't get rid of me because I wasn't good at challenges. Every single one of you said you got rid of me because I was a threat."

As such, Coby is the 10th castaway voted out of Survivor: Palau and will serve as the first member of the jury that will ultimately determine who will be named the season's sole survivor.
