Arrest Warrant Out for American Pie Star
American Pie actress Natasha Lyonne is a wanted woman. A New York judge issued a warrant for her arrest on Monday for failing to appear for a court hearing from an alleged rampage last December during which she was heard threatening to molest a neighbor's dog, Reuters reports.
Lyonne, 26, faces charges of criminal mischief, harassment and trespass after she allegedly went into a fit of rage. Authorities say she banged on her neighbor's door, stormed into the apartment and ripped a mirror from the wall.
Police summoned to the scene said Lyonne – who has appeared in more than 30 films, including Slums of Beverly Hills and Party Monster – announced to the neighbor, "I'm going to sexually molest your dog."
Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Abraham Clott issued the warrant after calling her case three times on Monday. Prosecutors said Lyonne finally arrived in court one hour late, stayed half an hour, then took off.
This is not Lyonne's first brush with the law. In 2001, she pleaded guilty to charges of losing control of her car while driving drunk. She received six months probation.
