Kevin Federline's ex-girlfriend says she's not surprised that Kevin's wife Britney Spears is pregnant.

"Hey, it was bound to happen," actress Shar Jackson tells MTV News. "It was a goal, and it was conquered, moving on."

Jackson, 28, is moving on herself. The former Moesha star – who has two kids with Federline, Kori, 2, and Kaleb, 9 months, and says that Federline "loves his kids to death" – has just inked a record deal with Los Angeles-based indie label Long Live Crime Records, a source close to Jackson tells PEOPLE.

She will be releasing a single this summer called "You Make Me Feel Good."

Jackson is also busy shooting a "women-empowering" network reality pilot with Marla Maples (Donald Trump's ex-wife) about women who have been through difficult breakups, the source says.

In addition to her other projects, Jackson is starting her own cosmetics line called RelationLips. The name of the first lip gloss: "He Cheated."

And while Jackson has accused Federline of being unfaithful, she said she still doesn't bear him any ill will.

"It's cool," she said. "Obviously, God didn't think that's who should be in my life at this particular moment in time, and that's all right."

As for Federline and Spears, their UPN reality show about their courtship, engagement and wedding will debut May 17 at 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, expectant mom Britney, who announced her pregnancy on April 12, received a gift on Friday to help her with any cravings she might have. Baskin-Robbins sent her a certificate for as much of her favorite flavor, Pralines 'n Cream, that she could ever possibly want.
