SURPRISE WEDDING: Even country singer Kenny Chesney is in shock over his Monday marriage to Oscar-winning actress Renée Zellweger. "To be so in love with someone who is so perfect for me – it's just hard to imagine that I'm not going to wake up," he said in a statement Tuesday. The couple exchanged vows in a low-key ceremony before friends and family on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where Chesney, 37, owns a home. "It was a very spare service," a wedding guest tells PEOPLE. Zellweger, 36, wore an elegant white gown designed by Carolina Herrera – the actress's longtime favorite designer.

BRITNEY'S BITES: Life as a mom-to-be agrees with Britney Spears, she says in a posting on her Web site. "Eating for two is so much fun; I get to eat lots and lots!" writes the pregnant pop princess, 23, adding that she and husband Kevin Federline, 27, "ate at some amazing restaurants in Scottsdale" during a "peaceful and relaxing" two-week vacation in Arizona. Meanwhile, in a look at the couple's early courtship, PEOPLE revealed the following exchange, taken from the Federlines' reality show Britney and Kevin: Chaotic, to premiere May 17 on UPN. Britney: "I kind of want someone to take care of me. Is that the stupidest thing you've ever heard?" Kevin: "That may be the smartest thing you've ever said."

BEN & JEN'S BABY: Nine months after Jennifer Garner, 33, and Ben Affleck, 32, began dating, sources tell PEOPLE the couple are three months into a pregnancy. But don't expect any official statements of joy. In contrast to his very public romance with Jennifer Lopez, the actor has kept his relationship with Garner private. They have spent their together time quietly hanging out in the Brentwood, Calif., neighborhood where they both live: grocery shopping, getting coffee at Starbucks, renting movies at Blockbuster and, oh yes, getting engaged. In early May a close friend spread the news that the two were planning to wed, to the delight of Garner's parents. "They had their fingers crossed," a Garner pal told PEOPLE. "They really love Ben."

JUSTIN TIME: Justin Timberlake, 24, had surgery on May 5 in a Los Angeles hospital, reportedly to remove throat nodules, benign growths on the vocal cords, PEOPLE revealed. According to a source, Timberlake, who isn't currently working on an album, will rest his voice for three months. He does have a speaking role coming up though, in Shrek 3, due out in 2007, and starring girlfriend Cameron Diaz – who was also seen this week in tabloid photos. The shots reputedly show her making out with the producer of her MTV show Trippin', Shane Nickerson. Diaz's rep Brad Cafarelli told PEOPLE: "Shane Nickerson is a friend and associate of Cameron's, who works with her on her MTV show, Trippin. They do not have any sort of romantic relationship whatsoever."

MODEL MARRIAGE: Supermodel Heidi Klum, 31, and British singer Seal, 42, got married on May 10, PEOPLE confirmed. The couple, who got engaged just before Christmas, wed on a beach in Mexico. They are expecting their first child together in the fall. The low-key ceremony was conducted in front of 40 guests near Seal's home on Mexico's luxurious Costa Careyes. Klum wore a Vera Wang ivory chantilly lace gown with an empire waist. The cake served at the reception at Seal's home was topped with a miniature Seal in a tux and Klum in a gown. Klum has a one-year-old daughter, Leni, whose father is Italian businessman Flavio Briatore. A pal told PEOPLE that Seal "is crazy about Leni, he is always carrying her around. He is the first one to change a diaper."
