A quick perusal of oddsmakers' favorites in this week's American Idol race shows the bettors well divided as to who will take home the $1 million recording contract on Wednesday.

Bo Bice is favored to win by BetRoyal.com, while MyBookie.com thinks his chances are even stronger. Meanwhile, those preferring Carrie include PinnacleSports.com, which has her taking the crown with 3-to-2 odds, while the British-based Skybet.com has her at 6-4.

And who is betting? "As the field has narrowed down, the number of people searching for American Idol betting odds seems to continuing growing dramatically each week," Thomas Jensen, Sports911.com's marketing director, says in a press release.

Last week, Alabaman rocker Bice, 29, scored with an a cappella version of "In a Dream" by Badlands, possibly putting him ahead of season-long fave Underwood, 22, a country girl from Checotah, Okla.
