Lindsay Lohan's Rockin' Night Out
Lindsay Lohan not only partied like a rock star during a recent night out at New York City hotspot Butter, she also partied with a rock star: Jon Bon Jovi.
The actress, dressed in a pinstriped black-and-white blazer, low-cut black shirt and ripped denim jeans, had a rollicking good time with the hair-metal heartthrob. When Bon Jovi's song "Livin' on a Prayer" began blasting from the speakers, Lohan stood atop the banquette where they were hanging out and sang along, thrashing her head from side to side and swaying her arms to the music while Bon Jovi remained seated and smiled.
Lohan then toasted the rocker along with several others seated at the table. Bon Jovi, who arrived with a party of four, sipped white wine while the actress drank little but lit up a new cigarette nearly every chance she got.
Even celebrities get tongue-tied when they come face-to-face with their idols. Just ask Brittany Murphy, who was absolutely gushing when Madonna attended the recent London premiere of Murphy's action thriller Sin City. As the Material Mom and husband Guy Ritchie whisked their way through the red carpet, Murphy could barely contain herself. "It's probably the second time I've ever been star-struck in my life," the actress told us. "She's my idol."
When asked how she would greet her if they met at the after-party, Murphy admitted she probably wouldn't say much. "I'll probably shyly and meekly shake hands."

Amanda Peet, chatting on her cellphone at the Stila makeup counter at New York City store Barneys. The actress was patiently waiting for a friend to finish getting her makeup done.
