SUNDAY, MAY 29: History will be made at the 89th Indianapolis 500 this Sunday if driver Danica Patrick crosses the finish line first. The petite 23-year-old racer (she's 5'2", 100 lbs.) is only the fourth woman to rev up her engine at the prestigious event, and if she wins, she'll be the first woman to take the prize. Patrick is one of the 33 drivers competing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. As usual, plenty of celebrities will be on hand for "the greatest spectacle in racing," which will air live on ABC, beginning with the pre-race coverage at noon ET (the race begins at 1 p.m. ET). Jack Nicholson, Kate Hudson, and Tony Danza are among the famous racing fans planning to attend.
Being married to Rolling Stone frontman Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall often had to live in the shadow of her more famous husband. Now the former model wants her shot at being treated like a queen with her new VH1 show Kept, which debuts at 9 p.m. The premise: The Texas belle imports 12 potential suitors to England from the U.S. where they'll vie for her attention with the hopes of landing a gig as her escort for a year and $100,000. And even her former flame is getting in on the action: Mick will make an appearance in an episode.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1: Does Ashton Kutcher have another Punk'd on his hands? Demi's man sure hopes so with the premiere of his new reality show, Beauty and the Geek, which debuts on the WB at 8 p.m. ET. Think of it as The Bachelorette meets Average Joe. Seven attractive females are paired with seven not-so-studly brainy guys, with the hopes that the ladies' sense of cool rubs off on their male counterparts, while the guys aim to impart some intellectual wisdom on their dates. Couples will be eliminated, and the last pair standing scores $250,000.
For viewers wishing there was more ballroom dancing on prime-time TV, your wish has been granted. Dancing with the Stars, ABC's new reality show, teams up professional twinkle-toed contestants with celebrity partners, including The Bachelorette's Trista Rehn, boxer Evander Holyfield and model-actress Rachel Hunter. The teams will then go toe-to-toe in weekly competitions, and viewers will eliminate a couple every week while a team of professional judges weigh in.
