"She digs it," Cruise tells Entertainment Weekly. Asked if his own passion for his church has grown stronger, the actor replies: "I've always been passionate about it."
Meanwhile, Holmes has been throwing more fuel on the rumors that she and Cruise are contemplating marriage – telling David Letterman their romance is "hot.
During an appearance on Thursday's Late Show with David Letterman, the host asked the Batman Begins star: "It's too early to talk about getting married, isn't it? But have you had a conversation about that?" A beaming Holmes answered: "I'm smiling, aren't I?" and later added, "That would be beautiful."
In the interview with EW, Cruise is even less coy. When asked if there's a ring in their future, he says: "It's gonna happen, man. It'll happen."

Cruise, meanwhile, brushes off those who are skeptical about the romance, which is just six weeks old. "It's amusing at first," he tells EW. "It's funny. But then you sit back and realize how sad it is that there are people who can't even imagine feeling like this. But my friends are happy for me. The people who know me are happy. My mom is happy. My family is happy."
As for his recent wild behavior on Oprah – jumping on the sofa, pumping his fist and stumbling over his words as he gushed about his new love – Cruise tells EW: "If they don't like it, f--- them."
Cruise also confirmed reports in The New York Times and elsewhere that there was a Scientology massage tent on the set of his upcoming film, War of the Worlds.
"I also had a cappuccino tent on that set. And I made sure the crews were fed well, too. And if someone wanted an assist from a (Scientology) volunteer, it was there for them," he says. "People are curious about it – they're always asking me about it, they want to know what Scientology is."
