Spears and Federline – "who were there for a family get-together," says a source – stayed in one of the large suites at the hotel and pampered themselves with multiple spa treatments in their room. And Federline surprised his wife by sending her white roses and white chocolate-covered strawberries. The singer also got her nails done at the spa's Yamaguchi Salon, while Federline purchased a new set of golf clubs and hit the resort's links.
And what's a vacation without a little shopping? The pair indulged in a little retail therapy at the resort's stores, including the Lilly Pulitzer boutique Pinkalicious and the Tommy Bahama boutique Coastal Dunes, where they picked up sunglasses.
Spears and Federline also made time to chill out with their broods, who were along for the getaway – including her cousin, his parents, an uncle and two of his nieces. To make them feel at home, Federline had cookies delivered to their rooms. What a guy.
How does Oscar winner Jamie Foxx stay in tip-top shape? We just had to know. "I have a workout tape called I'm Freakin' in Shape," he joked at his new movie Stealth's premiere at the Naval Air Station in Coronado, Calif. "That's what I do – I freak and I shape. I freak, I freak."
But seriously, Jamie. With a busy acting career (besides Stealth, in which he plays a fighter pilot, he's filming the big-screen version of Miami Vice) and a new album to record, the single dad tries to squeeze in a workout whenever he can. His favorite way: basketball.
Does that leave him with any time for a love life? "I think in this business you have to be real careful who you find," he tells us. "My manager would always tell me to slow up (the dating) when I was like 28, 29. Now I'm 32 and I'm glad I did because now I don't have all these people coming out of the woodwork going, 'Jamie, you remember when...?' " But he certainly knows how to charm the ladies: After wrapping Stealth, he gave costar Jessica Biel a silver dog tag with her initials on it. "It was perfect," she says.
