Barbie has a new friend: Lindsay Lohan.

The Mean Girls and Herbie: Fully Loaded star has struck a deal with toymaker Mattel – which manufactures Barbie – for a Lindsay doll that's all decked out for a Hollywood premiere, complete with interchangeable high heels, MTV News reports.

While the new little Lindsay is already in stores – along with a sold separately "Dressing Room" play set and a "Party Limo" – fans will have to wait until the end of the month for the tie-in animated straight-to-video release, My Scene Goes Hollywood, from Disney's Buena Vista Home Entertainment.

MTV describes the video as a sort of a Sex and the City meets D.E.B.S. Ken may be gone, but Barbie, 46, and her gal pals are out in full force. On a movie set they meet Lohan, 19 (still a redhead, despite her current blonde look), and she assures them she's just a typical girl.

When one of the women suggests that it must be cool to be trailed by the paparazzi, Lohan responds: "Yeah, for like, a minute. Try going out for coffee in old baggy sweats when you've barely slept and your hair's a mess and see how cool it is then."

Despite the warning, Barbie's friend Madison would still like to give showbiz a whirl. Without spoiling the outcome, suffice it to say the movie ends happily, with everyone on the red carpet.
