(the team consists of Tony and two sons-in-law); the Linzes, from Cincinnati; the Schroeders, from New Orleans; the Blacks, from Woodbridge, Va.; the Weavers, from Ormond Beach, Fla. (and who recently lost their father); the all-girl Godlewski team, from Des Plaines, Ill.; and the Bransens, of Park Ridge, Ill.
Speaking for her own brood, Marion Paolo says, "I think there's going to be a lot of personality clashes, but ultimately, Mommy screams the loudest and stomps her feet the hardest, so I might have the ultimate say."
Race, which offers a $1 million payout, premieres with a two-hour episode Sept. 27.
In other TV news, Regis Philbin's former cohort, Kathie Lee Gifford, who turned 52 on Tuesday, will join Pat O'Brien on TV's The Insider as a special correspondent, starting Sept. 12. She will appear at least two days a week and handle celebrity interviews and Broadway news, says the Hollywood Reporter.
