Ashlee Goes Tattoo Wild

To celebrate finishing her second album, I Am Me (set to drop in October), Ashlee Simpson wasn't just content to have a party. She decided to join the celebrity tattoo brigade. The singer-actress, who makes her movie debut in the new indie drama Undiscovered, had cherries inked on her ankle and the word "love" emblazoned on the inside of her left wrist. "I got 'love' because for me love is the most important thing. So I can give people love." Let's hope her parents can share that love. "I'm sure I'll get more tattoos but my parents are begging me not to."

Simpson will soon be celebrating another momentous occasion: her 21st birthday on Oct. 3. What to give the girl who's got everything? "I want so much wine and champagne," she says. "I just got a new house and I have the wine rack. So I want to fill that up. As far as clothes and diamonds, I don't need that."

Living It Up
Tara Reid is known for her party-girl image. In fact, these days the 29-year-old is partying for a living on her new E! travel show Taradise. But she's unapologetic that she's likes to have a good time. "If I work on a movie for two months, six days a week, 18 hours a day, and I want to have a week off, I should be able to dance on as many tables as I want," she told us at the London premiere of The Dukes of Hazzard. "And if there's something wrong with that, then that's people's own issues, not mine."

Reid says she has no plans to slow down her fast-paced lifestyle anytime soon. "I'm not going to stop doing it – I'm going to keep doing it and I'm going to keep doing movies. And that's it. I'm not going to hide something I'm not doing wrong." So there.

As for reports that she got rowdy and threw a champagne glass at the Berlin hot spot KitKatClub recently? "I promise you on my mother's life that is not true. Anyone who knows me really well knows that I'm the most un-mean, un-violent person in the world. That's the last thing I'd do."
