Punky's Soleil Moon Frye Has a Daughter

Former Punky Brewster star Soleil Moon Frye and her husband, Jason Goldberg, welcomed their first child on Wednesday, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

A baby girl, Poet Sienna Rose Goldberg, was born at 2:20 am in Los Angeles and weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz; she was 19 inches long.

Mom and baby girl are "doing wonderfully" and resting comfortably, says a friend.

Frye, 29, and Goldberg, 34, the producer of MTV's prank show Punk'd, exchanged vows in October 1998 in Los Angeles. The pair met in 1996 when Frye pitched him a movie script while she was studying film at New York City's New School University.
