Heidi Gets Ready for Baby
Heidi Klum is counting down the days until the new addition to her family arrives. And so is her 15-month-old daughter Leni. "She loves babies and every time that there's kids in other strollers, she always points at them, or if we're in a restaurant and there's another kid in a high chair, she's always pointing and (saying), 'Baby! Baby!' " says Klum, who looked stunning in a Michael Kors minidress at a recent party for the designer at his Beverly Hills store.
And even though Klum is going to have her hands full with two babies of her own, she's already got a jam-packed schedule once her bundle of joy with husband Seal arrives. The supermodel has plans to attend the Emmys as a nominee for her reality show Project Runway on Sept. 18. Additionally, she'll hit the catwalk as a model for the Victoria's Secret fashion show in November and she has season two of Project Runway on the way.
But that's not all: Klum is also doing the German version of Next Top Model, which she'll begin taping at the end of the year. "I really like Tyra (Banks's) show and how she did it, so I'm excited to do the show in Germany." Now that's multitasking.
Hip-hop star Kanye West wrapped up the summer in style at a private dinner party celebrating his new album Late Registration recently. And West brought two dates – girlfriend Brooke Crittenden and mom Donda West – to the VIP soiree at The Foundry, a converted brick warehouse in Long Island City, N.Y.
In a private room decorated with pearlescent shells, white orchids and cocoa-colored candles, West and guests including record-label honcho L.A. Reid and actor Eriq LaSalle feasted on a five-course meal including such delicacies as pan-seared Long Island black bass, butternut squash-and-shrimp soup and raspberry creme brulee.
And what would a hip-hop affair be without an afterparty? West and with his crew moved to another of The Foundry's buildings for a celebration sponsored by Hennessy V.S.O.P and partied the night away with actor Nick Cannon and R&B singer Maxwell, and even spent time with a fan who had traveled six hours on a train from Syracuse, N.Y. When the party finally wrapped up at 1 a.m., West and his ladylove jumped into a waiting black SUV and sped away.
