At the afterparty at Whitehall Banqueting Suite, though Knightley remained coy about James's presence at the premiere, a friend of the BodyRockers singer's was more open on the subject. The actress reportedly first met the vocalist at a Vanity Fair magazine party in London and they later reconvened "at the Glastonbury (music festival)," the pal told us. "Kaz was playing and she was a big fan of his. They just kept in touch – then she broke up with her boyfriend."
It's unclear on whether the Pirates of the Caribbean star (who'll play model-turned-bounty-hunter Domino Harvey in the action movie Domino, out Oct. 14) is just having fun or plunging into another relationship. But when asked what qualities would make the ideal real-life Mr. Darcy (her character's love interest in Pride & Prejudice), Knightley said, "a bit of moodiness." Stay tuned.
Stand By Her Man
Jennifer Lopez and Gwyneth Paltrow aren't the only stars supporting their music men. The O.C.'s Rachel Bilson recently showed up to watch her costar and boyfriend Adam Brody perform with his band Big Japan at the Viper Room in Hollywood. The petite actress, dressed in a black peasant dress, black leather belt and white ballet-slipper shoes, arrived with friends and sat close to the stage. While waiting for the show to start, she popped a few mints and then sipped a glass of champagne.
When the group began playing an hour later, Bilson sat atop her booth, bobbing her head, singing along and even waving and blowing kisses to Brody during Big Japan's hour-long acoustic set. And after the gig's close, Bilson patiently waited for Brody to pack up his equipment. Once together, the couple cuddled and cooed, then gamely posed for pictures and chatted with fans for an hour before leaving at 1:15 a.m.
Caught in the Act
Entourage star Adrian Grenier, flying on an America West jet from New York City to Las Vegas. The actor – who sported jeans and a camouflage hat – was, appropriately, with an entourage of three male friends.
Kevin Bacon and wife Kyra Sedgwick, holding hands as they walked around the reservoir in New York City's Central Park. Both wore sunglasses and Sedgwick sported a miniskirt and cowboy boots.
