Michael Jackson: 'I'm Feeling Good' | Michael Jackson Trial, Michael Jackson
Speaking publicly for the first time since he was cleared of child-molestation charges in June, a re-energized Michael Jackson said Saturday that he is "moving full speed ahead" on plans to record a song benefiting Hurricane Katrina victims.

In a brief phone call to the Associated Press monitored by his spokeswoman, Raymone K. Bain, the 47-year-old entertainer called the trial "the hardest thing I've ever done in my life" and said that he and his children were still in Bahrain "resting and recovering" from the ordeal.

As for his charity song, tentatively titled, "From the Bottom of My Heart," he said: "I'm constantly working on it." Bain said the final lineup of stars who will sing on the single has yet to be confirmed.

Asked about his health, Jackson said, "I'm feeling good," and mentioned that he had been plagued by back problems during the trial.

Jackson has been staying in Bahrain as the guest of Prince Abdulla – "He's the very best, amazing, so kind," says Jackson. Abdulla is the son of the king of Bahrain.

Bain told AP that Jackson just wanted to make contact to express his thanks for what he said was the news service's fair coverage of his trial.
