The honeymoon is far from over between Charlize Theron and her boyfriend, Stuart Townsend.

Though "we disagree constantly," the actress, 30, said of the Dublin-born actor on Friday's Oprah Winfrey Show: "He's the best thing that's ever happened to me. … Five years later I can't stop talking to him."

There's also an extra bonus: "And we like making out."

Friday's appearance with Oprah followed a highly celebratory Thursday for Theron. With a Golden Globe and an Oscar already in her possession – for her frightening portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in 2003's Monster – the actress received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The South Africa-born Theron, accompanied by her mother Gerda, received the star only blocks from where she was first "discovered" – screaming at a teller over a check the bank employee refused to cash, the actress told the crowd.

"I had big dreams when I came here, but this is an incredibly amazing gift," said Theron, according to published reports. "If somebody had told me then that this would have happened one day, I would have laughed in their face."

She added: "I'm incredibly humbled and honored to be here today. You've made a farm girl from South Africa feel very much at home."

Surrounded by family members and friends from back home, Theron recounted how at 18 an agent found her in line at a bank on Hollywood Boulevard after her mother had pushed the tall, beautiful blonde to move to Los Angeles to pursue film acting.

Initially a model (and still remaining one, as she'll star in Raymond Weil's international wristwatch campaign this fall), and then a ballerina for New York's Joffrey Ballet, Theron will next be seen in the film North Country, in which she plays an activist miner. She follows with her role as an assassin in the sci-fi thriller Aeon Flux.

A year ago, while Theron was making Aeon Flux in Berlin, she was injured performing a stunt – a back-flip somersault while wearing platform shoes. She slipped and hurt her neck.

Townsend told the AP at the time: "The slipped disc went almost into the spinal cord. She's fine, but could've been in a lot of trouble."

And she was clearly back in fine form at her star ceremony Thursday. Joked honorary Mayor of Hollywood Johnny Grant: "I must admit just her presence here this morning gave my pacemaker a vigorous jump-start."
