GARNER'S SLIP: Mommy-to-be Jennifer Garner wasn't quite as secretive about her baby's alias as she originally intended. On Tuesday's Tonight Show, while telling Jay Leno about her and hubby Ben Affleck's impending arrival, Garner revealed in a highly noticeable slip that the baby is a "she." "You can just start to feel really pregnant, like you are the hugest person on the face of the planet. ... I felt bigger and bigger like she ..." Garner then quickly (and conscientiously) covered her mouth with her hands, and the crowd cheered. The Alias star, 33, then paused, regained her composure, and took a sip of water. "Anyway ...," she said. The actress and Leno then picked up their conversation.
NEW APPRENTICE: Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Knauss, are expecting their first child together, his rep told PEOPLE, confirming news first reported in the New York Post. "They are expecting in the spring," says the spokesperson, adding: "They are very happy." As for becoming a father again – while this will be his first child with the 35-year-old Melania, he has four other children – Trump, 59, "is loving it," the rep told PEOPLE. "He's always said he wouldn't mind having more of a family." The New York-based Apprentice star and real-estate developer has three children by his first wife, Ivana (Donald Jr., 27; Ivanka, 23; and Eric, 21) and a daughter with second wife Marla Maples (Tiffany, 11).
BROOKE'S BABY: Brooke Shields revisited her clash with Tom Cruise, discussing with Oprah Winfrey the issues of postpartum depression and how she faced them. Shields also revealed that she wants to have another baby. "I do. I've always wanted more than one child," she told Winfrey on Tuesday when asked about the idea of having more kids. Of her decision to take medication two years ago to cope with the postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter Rowan Francis – and which prompted Cruise to criticize Shields and antidepressants – Shields told Winfrey that it's a personal choice every woman has to make. Of Cruise's advice that Shields could have dealt with her problem with "vitamins and exercise," Shields said: "I think exercise and vitamins are a very important part of a person's life. I don't think they would have helped me through my problems alone."
BREE'S BUSINESS: ABC's Desperate Housewives received a warm welcome back Sunday night, with a whopping 28.4 million viewers tuning in for the second season premiere. What they saw: Bree Van De Kamp (Marcia Cross) back in business as the control freak of all time, overseeing every detail of the funeral of husband Rex (Steven Culp) – even waiting for the proper second to announce his demise. Also on hand: her grieving mother-in-law, Phyllis (Shirley Knight), who openly battled with Bree, blaming her for making Rex's married life miserable. At the service, Bree publicly replaced the unsightly orange prep-school tie that his mom had put on her dead son.
