The newlyweds got orchestra seats for the hit Broadway musical Sweet Charity, starring Christina Applegate. Kutcher sported a green hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses (he took off the shades once the show started); Moore was friendly and gracious to theatergoers who congratulated the pair on their Sept. 24 nuptials.
The next day, the couple shared a romantic lunch at La Goulue, a French bistro on the Upper East Side, before heading to the airport: They flew to Las Vegas for the uBid for Hurricane Relief benefit auction that night. There, Kutcher played his cards right, bidding $14,000 to win a private poker lesson from champ Annie Duke.
Now that her breast cancer is in remission, Melissa Etheridge is back onstage – and she couldn't be happier about it. "I'm having so much fun," she told us backstage at the Lounge for Life concert at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. "I haven't really played a set with my band since I was diagnosed."
Etheridge – who says she's feeling great – now has a very different approach to her life. "I had to take a year off and change some things in myself," she says. "It's about acidic behavior – calming your stress."
The Grammy winner has also changed her diet. "Our western civilization and nutrition is for crap," she says. "You need to eat closer to the ground – no coffee, no soda. You'll feel more energy and be more balanced."
Caught in the Act
Tori Spelling and new boyfriend Dean McDermott, eating at the new Hollywood restaurant Bella. The couple and a group of five friends dined on chicken parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, and wine. "They looked really cute together," says an onlooker. "They seemed really happy."
Zach Braff, air-drumming, singing and pumping his arms to every song at Green Day's show at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. Also at the concert: Matthew Fox (a pal of the band) and Lauren Graham.
Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon, dining at restaurant Rosa Mexicano in New York City's Union Square. The joke-cracking Fallon had their server – who prepared their guacamole tableside – in stitches.
