The rapper (real name: Earl Simmons), who has starred in such films as Never Die Alone, Romeo Must Die and Cradle 2 the Grave, is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 17, the Associated Press reports.
Last December, DMX pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment and acknowledged he was taking Valium when he smashed his sport-utility vehicle into a gate at Kennedy Airport in June 2004, after telling a parking lot attendant he was a federal agent.
Simmons was sentenced to a conditional discharge, meaning further violations within a year could land him in jail. He also was fined and ordered to forfeit his 1998 Ford Expedition.
Since then, the rapper has been cited twice for traffic violations, once involving driving a car at 104 mph near his Westchester County home one week after his last sentencing. In April, he was involved in an accident in the Bronx with two other vehicles, one of which was an unmarked police car.
On Tuesday, he admitted to Judge Dorothy Chin-Brandt that he had committed the two violations while his driver's license was either suspended or revoked, say officials.
