Michael Jackson, move over: Sharon Stone is ready to release her charity CD to benefit Hurricane Katrina survivors.
"Every time this song gets played and every time this song gets bought, we're building houses and we're saving these kids," Stone, 47, said of "Come Together Now," which will be released as a CD single on Nov. 29, reports the Associated Press.
The Proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity, which helps needy families build homes, and Angels' Place, a Louisiana charity destroyed in the hurricane that helps terminally ill children.
The Basic Instinct star collaborated with such seasoned songwriters as Denise Rich, Mark Feist and Damon Sharpe on the song. Celine Dion, Wyclef Jean, Patti LaBelle, Chingy, Joss Stone and more than a dozen other artists lent their voices to the song, available on iTunes since Oct. 17.
As PEOPLE reported in September, A sampling of the lyrics is: "Just when it seems that all your hope is gone/And pain is all that you can feel/When there's no place for you to run or hide/Just remember one thing/There's always someone there for you (Who really feels for you and cares)."
Stone's single will also be part of a compilation album Hurricane Relief: Come Together Now, which includes contributions from Elton John, John Mayer, Barbra Streisand and James Brown.
Last week it was reported that Michael Jackson was said to be finally close to completing his charity single for Hurricane Katrina relief. Featuring Snoop Dogg and R. Kelly, the song is due to be released next month, said Jackson's rep.
