In other words, no famous mate for Ashlee. "I think it would definitely be easier" to fall for just an Average Joe, she tells the Associated Press. "I'm not looking for an actor, I'm not looking for a musician!"
As for the prospects of romance, "If you fall in love with somebody, you fall in love with somebody, but I would really like to not like a celebrity," says Ashlee, 21, referring to Jessica's well-known husband, Nick Lachey. The famous couple, whose early marital relationship was chronicled on Newlyweds, has dodged rumors of a split for months, though publicists for both Jessica and Lachey deny any breakup.
Still, says Simpson, whose latest album, I Am Me, was released last month: "It's definitely interesting when your relationship is in a magazine and people know about it and how I had this reality show and people knew what was going on in my relationship."
