The actor's former management company, The Firm, is suing for $660,000 in commissions it claims it's owed from the Hollywood hunk for his role in the Disney swashbuckling series, according to legal papers obtained by the Associated Press.
In June 2002, Bloom allegedly entered into an oral agreement to pay the management company 10 percent commission for work negotiated on his behalf, according to the suit filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
Bloom, 28, ended his relationship with The Firm in July of this year but failed to pay the money owed, court documents claim. At the same time, his manager, Aleen Keshishian, also left the agency for another, where he still handles the actor, who also has starred in Troy, Elizabethtown and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Bloom's camp has not commented on the suit, nor could Keshishian be reached by AP for a statement.
