Madonna's latest documentary, I'm Going to Tell You a Secret, hits British TV on Thursday – but next time, the pop star says she'd like to direct the film herself.
"I would love to direct a film," says the Material Mom, 47, whose husband, Guy Ritchie, has directed films such as Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. "I felt very inspired by making this movie, and I learned a lot about filmmaking and storytelling. I would like to do it on my own next time," the Associated Press reports.
The documentary, which will air on Britain's Channel 4 TV, premiered in the U.S. in October. Meanwhile, back in the U.S., Madonna's latest album Confessions on a Dance Floor, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart.
Music and dancing also apparently runs in the family. Madonna said in a recent interview that her daughter, Lourdes, 9, is a good singer and dancer, and may one day follow her parents into show business.
"They're both very musical," she says of Rocco, 5, and Lourdes, adding that her daughter is also an "incredible ballerina."
