A videotape that allegedly shows supermodel Kate Moss snorting cocaine is now in the hands of the police, according to an employee at the London tabloid the Daily Mirror, the Associated Press reports.

In September, the Mirror published still images from the tape that reportedly show Moss and her boyfriend at the time, Pete Doherty of the band Babyshambles, ingesting the drugs.

In the furor surrounding the allegations, Moss was axed from several high-profile companies including H&M, Burberry and Chanel. The model offered a public apology and checked into a rehab clinic in Arizona.

Police promised to investigate at the time, and the tape is now in their hands following a judge's order to the newspaper to surrender the video. The police had no comment.

Moss has been on damage control since the incident, hanging on to some of her old contracts and securing new ones, including an appearance on the cover of the December issue of French Vogue and an appearance in a TV spot for Virgin Mobile.
