The rocker and former drummer of Nirvana, who turns 37 on Saturday, will be a father for the first time now that his TV producer wife, Jordyn Blum, 29, is expecting, Grohl's bandmate, Taylor Hawkins, revealed during an interview with MTV.com.
"We're going to be touring Europe in January and February, but we've got be home by March, because Dave and his wife are having a baby," Hawkins let slip – quickly adding: "But I probably wasn't supposed to tell you that."
Grohl, who for a time was seeing Winona Ryder, married Blum on Aug. 2. 2003. She is his second wife. His first marriage, to Jennifer Youngblood, ended in divorce in 1995, after two years of marriage.
