"I'd love to adopt a bunch more kids, have a few and yeah just be traveling…" the actress and U.N. Goodwill ambassador tells Nightline reporter Cynthia McFadden in an interview scheduled to air Thursday.
The actress, who was interviewed for her role at the recent annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, also says she donates one-third of her salary to charity because, "I make a very good living doing something I love and, and I don't think I'd be comfortable with what I have if I didn't. I couldn't sleep at night if I didn't."
McFadden reveals that Jolie has recently given $500,000 to support the Unaccompanied Alien Children Act, which helps orphans seeking asylum in the United States. Jolie called the donation "the best money I've ever spent."
As for how she balances her life as a celebrity with her role aiding refugees, she says she likes to use her star power to bring attention to causes she cares about. "I can do more good with one foot on one side of the line and one foot on the other," she tells Nightline
Pitt also accompanied Jolie to Davos where the couple showed off their first-ever PDA, PEOPLE reports in its upcoming issue. "They were glowing," says an observer. "It was tasteful. They were there for the right reasons – I got the sense that they really wanted to make a difference."
