Glenn Close Marries on Maine Retreat

Glenn Close has married her beau, David Shaw, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

The actress, who most recently starred on The Shield, was hitched in a small, private ceremony in Maine on Friday, her spokeswoman, Catherine Olim, confirmed.

Close, 58, has been nominated for five Oscars, most recently for Dangerous Liaisons in 1989. Shaw, 54, is a biotechnology entrepreneur.

This is the third marriage for Close, who has a 17-year-old daughter, Annie, from a previous union.
