American Idol judge Paula Abdul seeks her perfect mate – and goes on a blind date! – on the Dr. Phil CBS special Love Smart on Tuesday. PEOPLE takes a look at her romantic quest, plus other events to check out in the coming week:

SUNDAY, FEB. 12: Maverick skier Bode Miller will head down the slopes as the men's downhill competition kicks off at the Winter Olympics (check your local NBC affiliate for airing times). So, how does the outspoken reigning World Cup champion feel about the prospect of picking up multiple medals during the Olympics? "I don't see winning five medals as a positive thing for me," he says. "What am I going to do with the medals?" We're sure he'll figure something out.

MONDAY, FEB. 13: Pooches, strike a pose! The Westminster Kennel Club's 130th Annual Dog Show hits New York's Madison Square Garden for two days. Who'll be the best in show? Find out on the USA Network from 8-11 p.m. ET on Monday and Tuesday.

TUESDAY, FEB. 14: Paula Abdul is on the search for her perfect man – and she's enlisted the help of Dr. Phil. The American Idol judge discusses her relationship difficulties and even consents to go on a blind date on the CBS special Love Smart (airing 9 p.m. ET).

THURSDAY, FEB. 16: Halle Berry is going Ivy League. The Oscar-winning actress will be named Harvard University's Woman of the Year as she receives the annual Hasty Pudding award, given by the school's student drama group. Berry will lead a parade through Cambridge, Mass., followed by her own roast. Then, on Feb. 24, Richard Gere will undergo his share of public humiliation when he's named Man of the Year.
