Double Oscar winner Hilary Swank will soon be available at better cosmetics counters nationwide.
The Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don't Cry star, 31, is the new inspiration and spokeswoman for a new women's fragrance that Guerlain will launch later this year, the luxury French fragrance and beauty company said in a statement.
Swank has signed a three-year contract with Guerlain. Financial terms were not disclosed, reports the Associated Press. Other Oscar winners who have represented fragrances include Nicole Kidman for Chanel No. 5 and Gwyneth Paltrow for Estee Lauder's Pleasures.
Describing Swank as a "radiant and natural beauty" who does not conform to stereotypes," the company said: "Her background of always opting for the more challenging and 'risky' roles coupled with her warm and genuine personality, a far cry from the usual Hollywood mold, were all factors that made her an obvious choice for Guerlain."
Last week, PEOPLE reported that Swank and husband Chad Lowe, who had announced their separation in January, met for a late lunch in Malibu and "seemed to be getting along very well," said an observer, noting that after the meal, Lowe, 38, walked Swank, 31, to her car. "He put his arm on her back when they were saying goodbye."
Though there has been no official word of reconciliation, a close friend of Swank's told PEOPLE, "It's not the first time (they've eaten together), it's just the first time the cameras have been around. It's evidence that they're working on their marriage."
