Bach, 42, made the filing Monday, according to court records, and also asked for a temporary restraining order against Hasselhoff, 53.
That request was denied, but the judge ordered the two to stay away from one another.
"The court indicated that she should stay where she is, and he should stay where he is," Hasselhoff's attorney, Melvin Goldsman, said Wednesday.
The court has sealed documents related to the case in order to protect the couple's two teenage daughters. Each parent retained custody of one child.
The couple has been married for 16 years. Hasselhoff filed for divorce Jan. 12 and Bach filed a day later. Both cited irreconcilable differences.
